Brooke - I'd be delighted to stay
Goal hero Ryan Brooke fired United to three points on Saturday after coming on as a 70th minute substitute, then insisted "I want to stay longer".
Brooke's loan spell from Oldham finishes after next week's game at Lincoln City, but the pacy striker would love to extend his stay after scoring on his debut.
"If it got to the end of the week I'd definitely go forward to [the manager] and say 'Look, I'd like to stay, would you like to keep me?' but if he comes to me and says he'd like me to stay then I'd be more than delighted,"
Ryan has found his opportunities limited with the club due to a spate of fixture postponements during his loan spell, but he's been impressed with what he's seen of the club so far.
"It's a very tight, together club. All the lads are as on as a group and I think there's potential to go far."
